Immigrants Found Beneath Plywood

La Joya police bust a group of un-documented immigrants lying in the back of a truck beneath plywood. Authorities say that around noon today, a suspicious looking pick-up truck was spotted in their area. When license plates were checked out, they proved to be false, including the inspection sticker as well. The truck was ordered to stop, but preceded anyway. It was on north fm 2221 that the coyote and two passengers abandoned ship leaving their human cargo behind. The five individuals were turned over to border patrol agents. They told police they were en-route to Miami, Boston and Houston. Meanwhile, the coyote and two passengers are still being sought.
