Human Trafficker Arraigned

The human trafficker that jumped out of a moving vehicle to avoid being arrested was eventually caught and charged for the crime. Samuel Sanchez was arrested by La Joya police and charged with 2 counts of evading arrest. Bond was set at $25,000. In all, 23 un-documented immigrants were abandoned and ultimately apprehended. They are now waiting deportation. As for the suspect, officials say Sanchez already had a lengthy criminal background.
