If it’s thinning… Dull or lifeless… There are certain foods you can eat to help perk it up. First, eat more foods rich in omega three fatty acids. Try salmon, flaxseeds or walnuts.
Next, bulk up on the bran. Bran is rich in vitamin b, which may slow hair loss and promote hair growth. Good food sources of b include beans, carrots, nuts, and eggs.
Third, indulge your love for avocados. They contain a substance that block a hormone called d-h-t from killing hair follicles.
Incidentally, red meat increases production of that hormone, so you may want to ease up on it if you’re losing your hair.
Finally, stock up on green tea. Rinsing your hair in a cooled pot of brewed grew tea can kill dandruff-causing fungus. And drinking it may help slow balding, according to two recent studies.
