High Speed Chase Leads to Immigrant Bust

The border patrol, I.C.E. and the McAllen and Edinburg police departments worked together in a pursuit that ended in Hargill. Authorities got permission to search an apartment in which 20 undocumented immigrants were hiding out. 19 of them were from Mexico and one from Honduras. Officers say that a call from a concerned citizen sparked the entire operation. One by one, the un-documented immigrants were taken from the safe house to the police units. They will be processed and readied for deportation. No word on the human trafficker, but the investigation is ongoing.
