Harlingen hit and run

Harlingen police are asking for your help in locating a person whose car struck and elderly man late Sunday afternoon.

The hit and run happened at the intersection of west Harrison and “F” street around 5:30. A 74-year old man was crossing the street when a green older model suburban struck and dragged the man approximately 35 feet before stopping. Police say the driver stopped, then backed up and went around the victim.
