Gun scare in Donna comes up bare

Donna independent school district police received a tip this morning regarding the possible presence of a handgun in the Donna 3-d- academy.
Several students were detained, but Donna superintendent Robert Laredo told Fox 2 news that a feud between students may have sparked the rumor.
Laredo explained that a female student told authorities that a fellow classmate had brought a pistol to school.
After a thorough revision of the school premises no handgun was found.
