Getaway Car Driver Arrested in Jewelry Store Robbery

Police have made yet another arrest in the Harlingen jewelry store robbery that left an elderly woman assaulted. 20-year-old Elisa Barron was charged with aggravated robbery and given a $20,000 bond. Police say she was driving the getaway car while 31-year-old Miguel Alvarado went inside the store on the 1600 block of East Harrison and assaulted the elderly owner and robbed the establishment.
