A former International Bank of Commerce employee has been sentenced to 3 years in prison for stealing $100,000 dollars from a customer. Federal jurors convicted 22-year-old Erik Alfredo Constante of bank fraud and embezzlement in July after he admitted to forging an account holder’s signature on a withdrawal slip and taking the money from the account. Federal agents arrested the man about a year ago when a search of his home uncovered empty bank bags containing strips used to bind the missing cash.
