Felony charges pending for man causing pursuit last night

New information tonight on a story Fox 2 news brought you first last night. The man arrested by several Hidalgo county authorities after leading them on a high-speed chase will be arraigned tomorrow and most likely will face several felony charges. It all began when Hidalgo city officers tried pulling the driver over for a traffic violation, but he refused to stop. He drove North, causing an accident on Monte Cristo and depot road, involving one of their police officers. He continued west eventually pulling over near Iowa road and mile 11 north of Mission. The spokesperson says the officer is doing fine.
