Family feud kills one man and leaves one critically injured

Two men are shot at and one is tragically killed after a family rivalry gets the best of Rudy Reyes.
At around six forty five on Friday evening, the Hidalgo County sheriffs department was dispatched to Cielo lane in Monte Alto regarding a shooting. According to authorities, a long running feud between the Garza and Reyes families was the cause for a young man’s death.
Rudy Reyes is responsible for the death of 24 hector Garza who died from at least one gunshot to his chest, the second shooting victim is identified as 29 year old Gilbert Garza who was shot in the leg and lower back and did survive the shooting.
Reyes’ bond for the murder was set at two hundred and fifty thousand dollars along with the attempt of murder where his bond was set at one hundred and fifty thousand.
This makes for the 20th death in Hidalgo County and sheriff Trevino says it
