Family Escapes House Fire

An Alton family makes a quick exit after their house catches fire. It was about 2:30 in the afternoon when Alton and Palmview fire crews responded to the fire alarm near the intersection of Bentsen and Jennifer Streets. Official reports indicate the family was inside the home at the time of the blaze but fortunately made it out un-harmed. The fires origin is now under investigation.
