Fake Fedex Driver Caught with Drugs

Weslaco police arrest a man posing as a fed-ex driver for drug possession charges. 22-year-old Jose Gerardo Morales of Pharr was driving a white van when officers conducted a traffic stop yesterday afternoon. When questioned, Morales’ responses were inconsistent so officers proceeded to search the vehicle.
They found several Fedex packages containing 100lbs. of marijuana.
The suspect was not a fed-ex worker.
The suspect was arraigned this afternoon on possession of marijuana charges and was issued a $50,000 bond.
