An elderly female dies after being hit by a pick-up truck in Weslaco last night. According to Weslaco Police, the incident occurred around 8 o’clock Tuesday at the intersection of Business 83 and Oklahoma Avenue. Police tell FOX 2 NEWS, the 83-year-old female victim was crossing the street when she was truck by the pick-up truck driven by a 17-year-old male. Investigators are still looking into the cause of the accident, but said the driver will likely not face any charges for the incident but he was cited for not having a driver’s license. The incident remains under investigation.
