Might want to rethink your breakfast choice tomorrow morning.
a Harvard study found people who eat a daily breakfast of eggs are up to seventy-seven percent more likely to develop type two diabetes. The study doesn’t explain why eggs are linked to diabetes, but cholesterol may play a role. High-fat diets have already been shown to raise insulin and blood sugar levels — suggesting a cholesterol-heavy diet may promote diabetes. Researchers suggest if you’re going to eat eggs, eat them in moderation… And don’t exceed six of them per week. The study, which involved 57,000 adults, appears in the journal “diabetes care.”
