Early voting starts tomorrow

Early voting begins tomorrow for next month’s primary elections across the Valley and Texas. Plenty is at stake, including the governor’s race, and in Hidalgo County, the race for district attorney. At least 291-thousand registered voters in Hidalgo County have the opportunity during primary election to come out an determine which candidates will be on the ballot for governor and other local, state and federal offices
People from each party who “win” the primary election will face off in the November general election which will determine who is actually elected to each office. Early voting in person may be easier than you think. You don’t have to stand in long lines on Election Day, and as a registered voter you may vote early at a convenient location within your political subdivision.
