Police officers will always warn against taking the law into your own hands.

Everything started when a man left his car with the engine running at this stripes store,, located at the 39-hundred block of north 23rd street.
The man goes for the unexpected trip on the hood of his Toyota Camry, in his attempt to stop two individuals who apparently tried to steal his car.

The suspected robbers take the man for a wild ride. The man is clinging to the car, for a third of a mile until the car collides with parked cars, a mail box and a fence

The vehicle catches on fire and the victim is pinned against the mail box and under the vehicle with serious injuries

Two young men are arrested after the accident and are set to face charges in connection with this incident.
