Drunk Driver Flees the Area

After a drunk driver ended the life of one man and left another woman seriously injured, he’s fled the area.
The accident happened on January 9th when Jose Pablo Mata and his wife were on their way to see their grandson play in a mariachi band. They were struck head on by a drunk driver traveling the wrong way on Monte Cristo and tower roads. Mata died instantly while his wife was left in serious condition. However, the drunk driver, Fernando Guajardo Rodriguez was transported to the hospital for injuries as well. After he was released and authorities went to arrest him, he was nowhere to be found.
