Drug traffickers lead authorities on chase
This afternoon authorities try to intercept a vehicle, but its female driver decides to tempt fate and makes a run for it.
The high-speed chase started at Chimney Park in Mission, TX. Border patrol agents detected the suspicious vehicle and signaled it to stop; there was a suspicion that it was being used as a drug transport.
After a few minutes the would-be trafficker was stopped in a residential area located near the intersection of Galveston and 42nd streets in McAllen.
The investigation regarding the identity and the legal status of the suspect is headed by the border patrol. The woman was transporting at least sixty pounds of marijuana.
