Drive-by injures 3 near Alton – Sunday night

Hidalgo county sheriff’s deputies say three people were injured during a drive-by shooting near Alton last night.

The shooting happened at a home near the intersection of mile six north and Los Ebanos road around 7 o’clock. Deputies say the three victims were hit by gunfire from a 12-gauge shotgun during a drive-by shooting and suffered minor injuries. Investigators are looking for a maroon mercury mountaineer last seen heading north on Los Ebanos road.
