The Texas department of public safety wants spring break to be memorable in a good way… that’s why they’ve partnered up with local agencies across the valley to target unsafe drivers as part of a spring break initiative.

Driving while impaired by alcohol or drugs is not worth the risk nor the money.

If you are arrested for a dwi offense, you may be fined up to 2 thousand dollars, spend 180 days in jail… Your Texas driver’s license could be suspended for one year… In addition to the fine, a first dwi conviction results in a one thousand dollar surcharge, paid annually for three years.

According to DPS officials there is absolutely no valid excuse for driving irresponsibly.
