A McAllen man is in custody tonight following a domestic dispute to the point where he repeatedly stabbed his wife in front of her own family.
32-year-old Carlos Alejo Hernandez is behind bars tonight after police say they responded to a violent crime scene on the 800 block of west Galveston Street over the weekend.
Police investigators, told Fox 2 News Alejo Hernandez had confessed to stabbing his wife multiple times butcher knife.
According to Sgt. Joel Morales, spokesperson for McAllen P.D., the 37 year-old victim remains at the McAllen Medical Center in stable condition.
