Dodge Arena renamed to State Farm Arena

After six years, dodge arena is no more. At least not the dodge part. Tonight in Hidalgo, the unveiling of the new sponsor that will pay for naming rights to the events center.

Effective immediately, the building will now be referred to as State Farm Arena. It is the first arena in the country to bear the state farm name. Organizers had hoped to also announce a major concert for the arena tonight, but the contracts were not been signed in time. Stay tuned.
