Dead Body Found in Mission

Authorities in Mission are called to the scene of a severely decomposed body. The discovery was made Saturday afternoon south of Military Road near Bentsen Palm Drive in Mission. Preliminary reports indicate the body showed no signs of foul play. Investigators believe the cadaver is that of an un-documented immigrant who was trying to swim across the river. The Mexican consulate has already been notified and autopsy results are pending.
