Crook Steals Money Bag at Wal-Mart

Police in Brownsville are looking for a crook that swiped more than $1,000 from a Wal-Mart this morning. Police say it was just before 8 a.m. when a Wal-Mart clerk on Alton Gloor put a bag of money on the counter. The crook saw his opportunity and took it. Witnesses say they saw the man run to a nearby convenience store and cross the expressway. The suspect is described as 5’8″ and weighs about 200lbs. he was last seen wearing a white shirt and dark pants. Anyone with information is asked to call Brownsville Crimestoppers at 548-tips.
