CONVENIENCE STORE CLERK INJURED IN ROBBERY

A woman in Brownsville ends up with a broken wrist after trying to stop a convenience store robbery, and it’s call caught on tape.
It was at three in the morning at the stripes convenience store on Central and Ebanos streets that the crime took place.
Both the police report and in-store surveillance video show two Hispanic males in their twenties taking two boxes of beer.
“The employee tried to stop them, she almost detained one but he was much too strong for her and left. She tried to block the doorway for the second one and that’s the one that just ran right over her and knocked her 10 feet away from the entrance of the doorway”
Authorities say that the victim identified as Nora Martinez, suffered a broken risk in her intent to stop the thieves. If you have any information regarding this case please contact the authorities at 956-546-8477 any information will remain confidential.
