Coffee beans makes your breath smell good?

If you would like to know how you can enjoy your morning coffee but still have fresh breath too here’s some advise. If you need your morning cup of Joe, but don’t like the way it makes your breath smell, you may want to watch what you’re adding to your cup. Researchers thought coffee would actually cause bad breath, but when mixed with saliva, it had the opposite effect. Coffee beans seem to contain compounds that keep bacteria in the mouth from releasing the gases that cause bad breath. The study’s author believes adding milk to coffee causes bad breath because milk ferments in the mouth. Scientists think finding out the exact plant chemicals responsible for keeping halitosis at bay could lead to coffee-based mints that can stop bad breath at the source.
