Cell Phone Use to be Banned in School Zones

A new Texas law will allow cities and counties to ban the use of cell phones in school zones, meaning if you are on your phone talking or texting while driving through a school zone. You will be slapped with a fine. The La Joya I.S.D. is one of the districts that will enforce the law come September 1st.
