C.B.P. Agent Indicted

A Brownsville Customs and Border Protection officer was indicted by a federal grand jury. 40-year-old Sergio Hernandez was indicted on eleven counts including drug trafficking, alien smuggling and bribery. Hernandez was arrested January 28th 2009.
Apparently Hernandez would allow smugglers to bring in undocumented immigrants and drugs into the country in exchange for money. If found guilty, Hernandez could spend anywhere from 5 to life in prison.
