Car Dives into Edinburg Canal: Two People Dead

Hidalgo County officials are working to find out why a vehicle and its two passengers plummeted into an Edinburg canal. The accident occurred Sunday at around 8:30 P.M. near the intersection of Ingle and Jasmin Streets in Edinburg. 46-year-olds Armando Salazar and Francisca Gonzales did not survive the crash. Officials are working together to determine the cause of this fatal accident.
