Two men convicted of the execution-style killings of a Brownsville family have been sentenced to death. 25-year-olds Daniel Troya and Ricardo Sanchez jr. Are the first federal defendants sentenced to death in Florida since congress reinstated the federal death penalty act in 1988. Both men gunned down Jose Luis Escobedo, his wife Jessica Guerrero and their two young sons. Investigators have said they believe the killings were drug related.
