17-year-old Dylan Levine is the number one wheelchair tennis champ in the United States… and number four in the world. An incredible accomplishments considering the fact that he suffers from a debilitating bone disorders after visiting several doctors Dylan was finally diagnosed with Fibrous Dysplasia. A condition that is so rare it’s estimated that only 9 to 18 thousand people in the u-s will ever have it as the bone grows, this softer tissue expands actually weakening the bone. Patients like Dylan often suffer from bone pain, difficulty walking, bone deformities and multiple fractures Dylan can walk, but he uses a wheelchair to get around, which helps decrease the pressure on his legs and though he’s had over 20 surgeries in the past 14 years, he hasn’t let anything get in the his way. He’s traveled around the world for tennis tournaments and says he’s setting his sights on the Para Olympics in 2012
