A Border Patrol agent shoots an un-documented immigrant for resisting arrest.
On Wednesday afternoon, a border patrol agent spotted a group of illegal immigrants near a convenience store. As the agent proceeded with the arrest the individuals began to flee, one of them made it into the store. The un-documented immigrant then became forceful and tried getting the agents baton. Feeling threatened, the agent responded by firing one shot. Border Patrol Spokesperson for the RGV sector, John Lopez says the agent has been on duty for five years. The FBI will pick up on the case.
