Body is found in Pharr near local high school

A body was found near PSJA high north school earlier this evening in Pharr.
The body was found on I road just a few blocks north of the high school. Authorities arrived on scene around five thirty pm. Pharr police department found the body within the canal shortly after arriving to the scene. The time the body was found coincides with the report of a missing teacher, 33-year-old Cesar Sanchez, an Alamo middle school math teacher who has not been seen since Saturday. Sanchez’ friends searched for him today, although it is unknown who discovered the body. The two cases may be linked, although it has not been confirmed by authorities.
