The lifeless-body of Hispanic male is found south of Mercedes, TX. Hidalgo sheriffs department is handling the investigation; they were alerted about the discovery approximately at 7:30 this morning.
The cadaver was recovered from a canal located east on fm 1015 near Rio Rico Street. Authorities say the victim is in his mid thirties. The man had a Mexican id with him, however his identity was not revealed. Preliminary reports show that the body had no indications of foul play.
