Police are still on the lookout for the culprit of an armed robbery that ended in a shootout in Weslaco. The incident occurred yesterday morning at the “stripes” convenience store located on Mile 9 and 1015 in Weslaco. While the assailant was trying to make his getaway he fired at police near sugarcane road, but no one was hit. The man abandoned his green truck near Salinas and frontage Roads.
