Anzalduas International Bridge to open early next week

It’s been a long wait but it’s almost over. The Anzalduas international bridge is expected to open for business early next week. This will be the third bridge that connects Reynosa with cities in Hidalgo county. Fox 2 news’ victor Castillo has the story.

With an estimated population of about three-hundred,,, the historical town of Granjeno in the Rio Grande valley,, has made national news for being strong opponents to the border wall
But now they’re making headlines with the long-awaited Anzalduas international bridge linking the cities of Reynosa, mission and McAllen

Granjeno residents tell fox 2 news they can’t wait to see the economic boom that this bridge will bring to the region

The Anzalduas bridge is expected to begin operations on December 15th, that’s when all inspection lanes equipped with high technology will welcome Mexican travelers for the holiday shopping season
