Anzalduas bridge opens, First new bridge in 10 years

The new Anzalduas international bridge began operations early this morning — providing tourists a safe and quick crossing experience to the united states.

with a ribbon cutting ceremony, the Reynosa mayor, Oscar Luebbert, and mission mayor, Beto Salinas opened the doors at six am.

The Anzalduas bridge becomes the shortest route between Mexico city and the US.
Reynosa and Mission city officials tell Fox 2 news the new bridge represents an economic boost not only for the valley but for the states of Tamaulipas and Texas

The new bridge hours of operations are from 6am to 10pm — seven days a week. They expect between three to four-thousand vehicles a day to use this new international crossing.
