Anzalduas Bridge Gets Hefty Funding

It is in the best economic interest of investors to keep an eye out for the tremendous development over the last decade in the Rio Grande Valley. Despite a struggling U.S. economy, there is still a critical infrastructure investment in the South Texas area. The new gold rush like atmosphere is being fueled by the partnerships such as the one between the United States and Mexico to build the Anzalduas international crossing, which announced an added injection of 22 million dollars provided by the Texas Department of Transportation. Mission is in a position to capitalize on this market globalization. Twenty years ago, the area held less than half the current population and its economy focused primarily around agriculture. Since then, investments have changed acres of farmland into shopping centers, residential subdivisions and industrial parks.
