An abandoned house goes up in flames

Edinburg fire marshals are trying to figure out how the blaze started inside of a residence. Yesterday night a home on Brooklyn road east of Doolittle on 2812 went up in flames. Neighbors immediately requested the firefighters assistance fearing that their homes too could catch fire. Fortunately the blaze was contained in no time and there were no reports of injuries. Sources indicated that the residence was abandoned at the time, there are rumors circulating that the incident could be an arson case.
