This latest development painting a clearer picture of what happened that night.
Jorge Luis Ruvalcaba junior rounds out five men charged in the capital murder of 31-year-old José Luis Gonzalez. Authorities say Ruvalcaba was the driver during last week’s shooting. He was issued a 350-thousand dollar bond.
Alton police announced the arrest of the alleged gunman, Luis Alberto Leo three other suspects were charged earlier this week with capital murder as well.
On November 26-th Gonzalez was shot and killed inside his truck at a gas station, with his family inside the vehicle. Investigators believe the murder stemmed from drugs, as well as a human smuggling operation.
More arrests haven’t been ruled out.
