Another fire to tell you about tonight. This one in the Alto Bonito area.
Firefighters are on scene and have requested additional assistance from surrounding cities like, Palmview, Sullivan City and La Joya. The blaze began at 7 P.M. in a grassy lot and has since grown in both size and intensity. The flames and smoke can be seen from afar and authorities are asking everyone to heed caution. A Fox 2 News crew is on the scene and will bring you the images and more details as they become available. No word yet on homes or individuals in danger. Stay with us.
