Alleged Shooting prompts School Lock-downs in Edinburg

This afternoon the Edinburg school district prompted lock-downs for Edinburg north high and Truman elementary school.

It happened shortly after 4 o’clock when Edinburg police responded to an emergency call of an alleged shooting.

According to authorities, 10 possible gang members hiding in the field nearby were taken in for questioning, however no one has been officially arrested and there is no confirmation of actual gunfire.
