Alleged Kidnapping Leads to Chase

McAllen police are investigating an alleged kidnapping that lead authorities on a high speed chase.
Around 8 a.m. this morning, police received a call about a possible kidnapping. When authorities arrived on scene, two suspects were quickly arrested, while a third fled the scene. The chase began in Edinburg and ran through La Homa road in mission. It appears as though the victim knew her captors.
The three suspects, 22 year-old Pedro Guajardo from Donna, 26 year-old Jose Hugo Martinez from McAllen and 22 year-old Gilberto Solis of Donna, were charged with one count of aggravated kidnapping. Guajardo received an additional charge of evading arrest while Martinez was charged with possession of cocaine and unlawfully carrying a weapon.
