Alejo sentenced to 9 years in prison

In Cameron County a jury has finally decided the fate of a man charged with of manslaughter.
A Cameron county jury to serve 9 years in prison sentenced Adrian Alejo this afternoon. Alejo plead guilty to driving under the influence when he found him self involved in a vehicular accident that took the life of 56 year-old Agustin Flores back in September first 2007
“Our recommendation was 20 years, the defense was recommending probation, so the jury came back with that decision of 9 years. We were satisfied and Adrian Alejo will be serving that time in prison”
The sentence was made this afternoon at the 197 district court in Cameron County.
