Adults who exercise regularly are less likely to develop a range of cancers.
A study in Japan followed eighty thousand adults for up to a decade. Results show regularly active men and women have lower risks of developing certain types of cancer, specifically in the colon, liver, pancreatic, and stomach.
Exercise is said to help prevent cancer by controlling body fat. Physical activity can stimulate immune system activity and alter certain levels of hormones, which may lead to growth and spread of tumors.
