Mission Teen To Be Charged For Bringing Gun On Campus

A junior high school student accused of bringing an armed gun on campus is expected to face charges tomorrow.

Mission-ISD put Raul Cantu Junior High School on lockdown last week, after school officials were notified that the 13-year-old was armed.

Nobody was injured. Authorities arrested the teen and transported him to the juvenile detention center. He is expected to face a judge tomorrow.  According to police the teen brought the gun on campus because he felt threatened.
