CDC Says Worst Of Flu Season Is Over

The number of states reporting intense or widespread flu dropped again last week.
This flu season started about a month earlier than normal but cases have been dropping steadily over the last month.
It’s been nine years since a flu season started like this one.
One that proved to be one of the deadliest.
A reported 59 children died of flu-related deaths.
The most; nine kids, were in Texas.
Flu activity was still high last week in the lone star state.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention described this season as “moderately severe”.
