Suspects Accused Of Illegal Fuel Purchasing Scheme Detained

Two men allegedly created an illegal fuel purchasing scheme to make a profit. 36-year-old Humberto Tavera and 39-year-old Juan Angel Mendoza were detained in Mission for using cloned cards to buy fuel which they would sell later, cheaper than the market price. Investigators say that the accounts being used were traced back to San Antonio. Three other people are waiting to face charges. Tavera and Mendoza were issued a 200-thousand and 100-thousand dollar bond, respectively.
