Good evening folks an illegal immigrant bust today in hidalgo gave a keen insight into the specific areas of our border region that authorities need to monitor. Nine illegal immigrants ranging in areas from El Salvador, Guatemala and Mexico were taken into border patrol custody today with the aid of Hidalgo police. One of the nine including this young man spent an extensive amount of time and money to enter into the country. The amount he paid 15,000 kit sales, roughly under 2,000 just enough according to him but not enough to get him to where he wanted to go. The area the nine were found an area of large brush near 5th and Esperanza has become a common hiding spot for illegal immigrants crossing into the country, and it has given Hidalgo Chief Rudy Espinoza ideas as far as a game plan in eliminating areas like this around the valley. And the Hidalgo police department along with Border Patrol plan to do some cleaning up and clearing out when it comes to other heavy brush areas in the city of Hidalgo, reporting for Fox 2 news its Tom Rader.
