Fourteen individuals have been detained by federal agents pending charges related to their involvement in a group calling themselves the “defensores de Cristo” or defenders of Christ, a little known cult organization that subjected its followers to forced labor and sexual services. This all according to Mexico’s national immigration institute, along with who raided this home just outside of Nuevo Laredo and found the members, including some children living in deplorable conditions. Now two alleged cult leaders names are emerging Venezuelan Jose Arenas Losanger Segovia and the man claiming to be the reincarnation of Christ Ignacio Gonzalez. Gonzalez offered courses in what he called bio programming” a technique to make one eliminate pain and anxiety the group existed in an area under close watch of the Zetas drug cartel.
